Simply Stone and Marble, Inc.
Last updated: September 16, 2026

This policy explains what information Simply Stone and Marble, Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects through simplystoneandmarble.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Name, email address, and phone number when you submit our contact form or request a quote
  • Project details you share with us (location, scope of work, photos) during consultation
  • Billing information (name, email, billing address) when we send you an invoice

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic site usage and traffic statistics, via Jetpack (WordPress.com’s built-in stats tool)
  • Standard technical data such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically by our hosting provider for security purposes

We do not use advertising trackers (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel) on this site.

Payment Information

When you receive and pay an invoice from us, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not collect, see, or store your full credit card or bank account numbers — Stripe handles that directly and securely. Stripe’s use of your information is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to quote requests and inquiries
  • Schedule and coordinate project work
  • Send invoices and process payments through Stripe
  • Maintain project and billing records as required for our business and tax purposes
  • Improve our website and services

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Who We Share Information With

We share information only with the service providers that help us run our business, including:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • WPForms — our contact form service
  • Jetpack / WordPress.com — website hosting and basic site statistics

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How We Protect Your Information

We limit access to personal information to the people and service providers who need it to do their jobs. Payment information is never handled by us directly — it is collected and stored by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, using industry-standard encryption. Our website is served over HTTPS (encrypted connection). While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable steps to protect the information we do hold and will notify affected individuals as required by law in the event of a data breach involving their personal information.

Data Retention

We retain project and billing records for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described above and to meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations (generally at least 7 years for financial records). Contact form submissions are retained until no longer needed to respond to your inquiry, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your Rights

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request its deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.

Anyone may request to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about them by contacting us directly.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of today. If that ever changes, we will provide a clear opt-out mechanism on this page in advance. To confirm your data has not been sold or shared, or to submit any CCPA request, email chad@simplystoneandmarble.com.

Cookies

Our contact form and site may use basic cookies required for the site to function (for example, to prevent form spam). We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
